• We have a showroom where you are invited to come and view and touch the different types of products on offer. You can also view how sinks can be mounted and the various types of jointing methods. We also have a large range of samples you can borrow to take home and evaluate.
  • We will work closely with your designer or kitchen company to ensure we are all on the same page in relation to the installation of your benchtop this will assist in ensuring a benchtop delivered on time that fits perfectly
  • For each job, we will come to site and make a template of your new benchtop. This ensures that come installation day, the top will fit exactly as it should, eliminating excessive delays of the top having to be taken away for reworking.
  • We offer a 24 hour or less, turnaround for quotations.
  • Free advice – These isn’t much we do not know about solid surface, if you have any questions at all from design queries to product advice, we will happily assist you.
  • Warranties – All products fabricated by Benchscapes carry a minimum or 10 years warranty to ensure you piece of mind. We also warrant our workmanship with a promise we will repair any problem that may arise from our workmanship – a true testament to our belief in the quality of surface we will provide you.

 

The Ordering Process:

  • We book a ‘template date’ with either you or your designer. At this appointment, we template your benchtop. Your hob and sinks need to be available for cut-out measurements and bowl installation (if undermount). The final shape and size is checked and approved by either the designer or the customer.
  • Manufacturing time from templating to installation is no longer than 15 working days. This being said, we do whatever possible to reduce lead times if required (this applies to residential benchtops, commercial projects will have a lead-time supplied in the quotation)
  • 24 hours before installation, we will contact you to check that the site is ready for our installation team.
  • We always recommend booking your plumber for the day after installation, to allow your top to settle and give the tradesman more room to move.
  • Tops are installed by a two-person team. For very big jobs, extra people and cranes could be involved.
  • On average, a solid surface top that requires a seamless joint requires 4-5 hours for installation. An engineered stone top with one V-joint requires about 2 hours.
  • When installation is complete, we clean the site and train the home owner on care and maintenance procedures. Warranty cards are completed before we leave. Payment terms are 50% when job gets the go-ahead; balance upon installation.
